About Kaizen
Structural change
redraws the map.
The most consequential opportunities often emerge between established disciplines.
Connected systems.
Not separate disciplines.
Technology changes the economics of a business, its risks and the capital it needs. Insurance can alter what is financeable. Capital structure can preserve strategic freedom or constrain it.
As those relationships shift, conventional industry boundaries become less useful. Kaizen considers Capital, Risk and Technology together: how a business operates, what it can withstand and where value can be created.
Institutional philosophy
Compounding Excellence.
Sound judgment begins with evidence and remains open to revision. Structures should serve the opportunity, not become an end in themselves.
Over time, capital, operating capability and better information should reinforce one another. The objective is enduring advantage, not activity for its own sake.
Based in Johannesburg, South Africa.
